Long after Timber Valley ceased operation, personal websites became readily available to the public as the price of home computers became affordable

For a limited time, I tried to revive the Timber Valley Holt as an online-only holt, and new stories would pick up nearly ten years after the end of the Timber Valley War storyline, which resulted in many elven deaths and later an exodus by numerous other elves who tired of the conflicts. This left the elf tribe with a number that was similar to what it had been just after the Death Flood that divided the storytelling history dates. However, the revised holt did not attract much interest by the former members and did not last long.

The list below does not reflect all the characters throughout the history of the Timber Valley Holt, but each name marked with a link will take you to a related Character Information Sheet that has been completed and uploaded.

The "current" date in the storyline for these characters is DF 39

THE TIMBER FOLK

The elves. Modeled after the original Wolfriders of ElfQuest, though pure-blooded and not kin with their wolf-friends.

Male

THE KE L'RHATAN

The humans. Modeled after early Amerindians. They do not worship a god, but rather the elements of nature. Prior to the War, they were enemies of the elves, but have since become respected allies. Frequent trade bartering between the tribes is commonplace, but no elves live with the humans and no humans live with the elves.

  • Rana - Seralle's daughter.

  • Tana - Apprentice to the Shaman. [Originally profiled in Timbers #16]

THE UNDERGROUND

The Trolls. Loose allies with the elves and humans, but have become rather reclusive over the years following the War. Trade bartering still occurs, but seldom.

Male

  • Batfur - Rockhammer's son.

  • Dripstone - The King's right-hand and friend of the elves. [Timbers #15]

  • Goldfinger - The treasurer.

  • Grit - Dripston's first son.
